"Ricky" is a loveable, handsome, 5 yr old 16.2 hh thoroughbred gelding. He has a gorgeous presence under saddle and would make a great show horse. He has been started over fences and is very rideable. He can free jump with ease 3 ft fences and 3 jump grids which include 1 and 2 stride gymnastics. He is great with his dressage and can ride in a frame walk, trot, canter, and can leg yield very well. Has an obedient, balanced halt and back up. He has had a 14 year old girl ride him in a lesson, and they got along great. He would be best for a rider with some feel and experience, not a complete novice- because he is responsive and sensitive. He does not have any bolt, spook, or buck. He may make a novice rider's horse in the future. He comes back to a walk easily after cantering or jumping, and his gaits are smooth. Ricky is very enjoyable to ride, and is well worth a test ride.
Ricky has excellent ground manners and respect for the handler's space. He is great for the Ferrier, vet, loading,lunges well in a halter, ties, cross ties and ground ties, and is easy to work around.
He is priced to sell due to financial reasons, however as his training continues his price will have to go up.

Wings of Freedom, 1994 grey, 16.2 HH, Thoroughbred mare. Purchased at Assiniboine Downs but never raced. Has done dressage, hunters, endurance and is a great trail horse for an experience rider.
